About the Book
Justin Marler’s first Austin experience was performing with his band at the famed venue Emo’s. Since then, Marler has lived and worked in the city, and now he offers his insider perspective to travelers interested in exploring The Live Music Capital of the World. Marler includes details on the best local musicians and venues, the city's famous independent music festival South By Southwest, outdoor recreation options ranging from rock climbing to disc golf, and historic sights in nearby San Antonio. He also provides unique insight into Austin’s cuisine, dividing the “Food” section into subsets like “American and Diners,” “Tex-Mex and Southwestern,” and “Healthy and Vegetarian.” With Marler at the wheel, Moon Austin, San Antonio & The Hill Country gives travelers the tools they need to create a more personal and memorable experience
